What is TIPS?
The power of ‘TEN’ (‘Text Enabled Numbers), TIPS empowers anyone to simply send a text message using any kinds of mobile phones (even an old kind of phone) to report any signs, incidents, or actual acts of violence using the same telephone number for your campus police, accessible and found in all directories.
How do we get the reports?
TIPS will capture and collect all messages sent to your campus police and then generates formatted reports of such tips for access by your police department and/or designated administrators.
Is there training with this service?
After you have registered for our services, you will have access to training videos on various txtmeQuick subjects as well as support by phone, text or email.
How is this different from other services?
Our platform adds the power of standard text messaging to your existing campus police phone number, making your existing phone number SMART.
Do I need an App or smart phone (i.e. iPhone, Android, etc)?
As a mobile user you do not need a smartphone or an app to text campus police phone that subscribe TIPS. Just type in the campus police phone number and text away.
Where can I send a report?
A partner school, students, staff or general good citizens/public can easily text and report any non-optimal activity to the schools / phone number.
